I specialise in working with complete beginners to exercise, clients suffering from Obesity and or Type 2 diabetes and those who just hate the thought of exercise and really struggle to eat well. In addition to the standard PT qualification held by all PTs, I also hold the Level 4 Certificate in Exercise and Nutritional Interventions for Obesity & Diabetes. I am also a diet and nutrition adviser so can provide information and support about most dietary issues.

I also hold the GP Exercise Referral qualification which means I am specifically qualified to work with clients who may be suffering from conditions that make training a little more complicated.

I am also a Level 5 sports massage therapist and so unlike regular personal trainers, I have, firstly, a detailed understanding of how muscular imbalances can cause pain and dysfunction and secondly the ability to treat any such muscular pains, so if you are suffering with knee pain , back issues or sciatica for example, I will be able to address those issues as well as your primary fitness goals.

I’m a female personal trainer who believes that being a strong woman is essential for physical and mental health. I specialise in working with women of all ages and supporting through “female specific” issues such as pre and post natal exercise, menstruation, hormonal changes and the menopause. Finally, I also work as a tutor to new personal trainers, training assessing and qualifying them, so I completely understand my craft.

Hi, my name is Nikki . I LOVE FOOD, I am obsessed with all things FITNESS and sharing that love and obsession with my clients, is my passion.

My mission is to ensure that every one of my clients reaches his or her goals and understands how to sustain their new healthy life.

Throughout my life I have always struggled with my weight, even as a child my mother would say I had "big bones".

As I got older, I became obsessed with my weight, trying one extreme diet or slimming club after another. I always managed to lose the weight, but always managed to put it back on again once left to my own devices.

I also found myself dependent on food, using it as a tool to alter my moods. If I was feeling sad, food was my comfort; if I was mad, it calmed me down; if I was lonely, food was my friend. Sound familiar?

Around 10 years ago I finally decided that something had to change and I needed to do things differently. Rather than yoyo dieting and participating in gym classes that I didn't enjoy, I knew I needed to look deeper into my emotional behaviour and find out what was really causing me to fail. With help, I came up with a plan that worked for me, a plan that included not only nutrition and exercise but also a re-education of what my mind, body and soul was in need of.

Today I'm a 40 something year old who demonstrates that it's never too late to make changes and start the journey to a healthier life.

I eat well, train hard and feel great. I love the way that training makes me feel as well as look. My own life experience has taught me that although diet and exercise are essential to having a healthy life, your state of mind is integral in ensuring that you reach your goal and maintain it.

It is a subject close to my heart, which I am truly passionate about. I am dedicated to helping people reach their own unique health and fitness goals by listening, coaching and together creating bespoke and effective plans encompassing nutrition, exercise and if necessary emotional support and counselling.
